A Rip Saw Machine is a woodworking machine used to cut solid wood lengthwise (parallel to the wood grain). It is commonly used in furniture manufacturing, pallet production, flooring, door and window manufacturing, and sawmills to produce boards, strips, and timber of the required width.

Working Principle

A rip saw uses a high-speed circular saw blade to cut wood along its grain. The timber is fed through the machine by feed rollers or a conveyor while the rotating blade performs a straight, accurate cut.

Basic Process:

1. Place the wooden board on the infeed table.
2. Set the required cutting width using the fence.
3. Feed rollers move the board automatically.
4. The circular saw blade cuts the wood.
5. The finished pieces exit through the outfeed table.
