Working Principle

The bending process consists of the following steps:

1. The sheet metal is placed on the lower die.
2. The upper punch moves downward.
3. The sheet is pressed into the die cavity.
4. The desired bend angle is formed.
5. The punch retracts, and the finished component is removed.
